People say kebabism needs a reformation
The christian reformation however is what led to protestantism.
while it conjures up images of american revolutionaries arguing for "small government", it also led to iconoclasm, you know, christians smashing statues they considered were "paganism" committed by inconsistent christians, apostasy.
sounds familiar?
wahhabism is the kebab reformation.
leftism IS the christian reformation.
from the munster rebellion to communism, communism is not the opposite, but a subsect of christianism taken to its logical metaphysical and moral conclusions.
just google circumcellions and mazdakism. this is how old communism and leftism truly is.
to merely blame "atheism" for it, is ignoring the centuries long history of monks and heretics preaching communism within the christian world.
in holland the "reformation" is the type of people who would even today argue women should not be in politics, only a few years ago they had to change this view because of the dutch government, not because they wanted this.
regardless whether one thinks women should be in politics,
a "reformation" typically involved, in abrahamic religions, to clean up everything pagan and non abrahamic that was still intact.
how can you reform that which has as its basic a theology of monotheistic intolerance, blind zeal to convert by the sword?
i reject this type of thinking.
Why do people still adhere to it, altruism.
they think there ought to be some type of "group morality" that is the good one.
i don't believe this.
everything that puts a blind faith in a dogmatic, intolerant, warlike ideology will lead to bad results
likewise, at the bottom of all abrahamism and totalitarian religion lies altruism.
its a project "for the common good", we know whats best for everyone else.
this can not be reformed, it must be rejected.
every criticism of ideologies for leading to death, starts with skeptic and individualist view, but then goes back to collectivism because one still fears the chaos of anarchy and atheism.
one thinks there must be an ordering principle
however the world itself is chaos.
look deep enough and you see only endless play of "the one", atoms.
tim leary was correct, nationalism and socialism are also monotheism.
instead of "one god", it becomes "one government"
we turn to molinari. we know from economics, that competition is good for the consumer.
if the consumer has only one choice, the provider can ask highest prices and worst service, consumer has no other options.
so monotheism of religion is not so different from monotheism of economics.
people say "capitalism leads to monopolies", but they forget all legal monopolies on market are only possible due to a government outlawing legal competition..
this is often done due to nationalism, but also due to socialism (class purism) and also due to unions (stopping cheaper competition)
so the monopoly underlying monopolism in economics is actually the government and many anti competition ideologies.
but the government is the one who puts it into legal action, punishing the ones who offer black market alternatives (which exist only because consumer demand for it exists)
so then molinari argued, if competition is superior to monopolism, why do we give an exception to things such as security, law making and so on???
while most people have heard of the moralist anarchism of Rothbard, anarchism is also defended, value free, by david friedman, like molinari, showing a more economics based argument.
why should we argue for a government to have a monopoly?
if we know monopolies are bad, why government gets a free pass??
religion & government are always defended out of expectation. one expects it will make things better.
atheism and anarchism are the skeptic views.
so in my view atheism & anarchism are the consistent skeptical rejection of all totalitarian ideologies who proclaim they have all the answers while already dreaming of killing everything that doesnt fit.
imposing order on the chaotic world.
perhaps its precisely the desire to impose the order that has been the error.
all the abrahamic faiths & political ideologies are about converting the world, killing dissenters. witch hunts, pogroms, hate speech laws.
whereas i find in a few heterodox sects here and there, the same attitude i prefer: to seek the truth in oneself, reject all the ideologies that lead only to blood precisely because of the obsession with bringing about the "paradise".
when i first heard of the aghori babas, i knew this was a spirituality of guys who might understand my views.
i found it in some tenets of buddhism and shaktism as well.
i'm even suspecting among some of the more "weird" sects of tezcatlipoca, mithraism and ulfhednar/berserker one would find likewise this type of insane warrior-monk
this is my ideal man against the Mass Man of democratism and religions.
the warrior monk prays for peace every day, but he also prepares to fight every day.
to blindly worship violence is to stop your own intellectual evolution and only leading to death of everything as we can see everywhere in the world.
to blindly deny violence exists or something is necessary as self defence is likewise stupid and leads to replacement by the brutal one who is not merciless.
so the ideal ideology is to understand the world as it is.
to be compassionate and to be aware.
to understand the stupidity of the violence addicted, but also the stupidity of the violence denier.
to pray for peace but to prepare for war
to reject all the ideologies that humans create but become their own prisons.
to come back to our original assertion: the basic premise of religion & socialism is the same: you dont own yourself. we here of religion & government, have the solution to restore the world but you have to follow blindly, you must not disagree.
perhaps for others joining a movement gives them a sense of "likeminded" individuals.
i have travelled in many circles and i always hated when i found myself among a group of people who all had the same slogans and worldview.
