capitalism and free choice

there are many anti modernist fractions in and sprouting from every religion, and from various political movements.
What they have in common is hatred towards capitalism because to them capitalism floods the market with useless things. they forget that something can only be succesful if people are paying for it thus saying they want it.
capitalism needs individualism, socialism hates individualism.
socialism is compatible with every religion and tyranny; capitalism, pure capitalism is naturally opposed to government or even most religious interference with the free choice of people.
those who oppose capitalism by and large seem to self elect themselves as plato's wise men, see themselves as somehow being the exception above the "masses".
this is a very recurrent theme. it's easy to fancy oneself to be smarter than the others. building poltiical legislature upon this thought is what causes oppression and poverty. and this is what has been the most of mankind's history.
